Hey, i am alicia

 

 


Mother, daughter, sister, and photographer to women navigating the seasons of motherhood.


Family is the epicenter of my being.


After losing my mother to cancer, a piece of me was missing. That female, unconditional, unfiltered, always in your best interest connection and bond. A bond that was truly so strong for 19 years.


As time passed the memories were still alive but her face was fading away.  Having very little photos of us together breaks my heart.  I can't share her strong presence, similar features, and our best friend connection with my babies.  I tell them the stories but without the illustrations it is a mystery to them.


I have made it my mission to document a mother's love at each stage of her child's life. I am using my grief to fuel my art.
