WHAT TO EXPECT
A session focused on HER that eliminates the expectation that you have to do it all.
Let me coordinate, style, and direct a session that feels effortless and chaotic all in the same breath. I thrive in an environment when individuals embrace the present with each other. I will provide direction which leads to natural responses and movement allowing me to find the story and purely document your personalities. I understand insecurities and will capture you in a way that these aren't even a thought and allows you to be in the moment. All emotions are encouraged (laughing, crying, shyness) and all love is welcomed!
This is how I can provide authenticity in your gallery.

THE INTRODUCTION
It all starts with an initial introduction call where we can get to know each other & explore what your motivations are for your session. From there we will begin to prep with a series of emails and questionnaires that will allow me to fully customize your experience to you.

AESTHETIC & LOGISTICS
Together we will map out the right location based on your personalities and goals for the session.
I believe in picking a location that offers up an experience in an effort to truly document authenticity in your imagery. The ideal location invites you to melt and claim your space — and in that moment your narrative begins!
Embracing the season and the elements is a huge part in telling your story. Storm clouds, strong winds and even light rain brings on raw emotion that I love to capture.

STYLING & GLAM
We will collaborate on what type of wardrobe style, hair and makeup you'd like your session to embody.
I do have a heavy hand in how the styling and location compliment each other. Please be prepared to collaborate with me in this preparation. I will provide you with a detailed Styling Guide and Moodboard for each person in the session.
I highly recommend you book hair and makeup for your session. I partner with several makeup artists that I will coordinate and book to elevate your session look. Our makeup artists travel to your home to provide convenience and comfort prior to your session.

THE ARTWORK
You will receive a password protected gallery with your beautifully hand edited images.
Print your images! Your digital gallery will include the ability to purchase professional grade prints for your home. Or you can opt to work with me to customize an heirloom album keepsake.
GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR EXPERIENCE
- Live in the moment. Think about what it means to you and what you truly want to remember.
- Look for connection over perfection. This will not be an all look at the camera and smile type of session.
- Embrace the elements- stop watching the weather and trust your photographer to capture the beauty of each season and weather condition.
- There is no such thing as thinking I am not photogenic or I am awkward in front of the camera. That is what I am here for.
How far in advance should we book?
I am booking out 3-6 months in advance for motherhood and parenthood sessions.
Both Maternity & Newborn Sessions should be booked in your First Trimester.
When do sessions take place?
Sessions take place during the week in the evenings, about 60 - 90 minutes prior to sunset. This allows me to capture the romantic moody golden hour glow.
Newborn Sessions take place weekday mornings either in-home, at the hospital or outdoors depending on time of year.
Branding sessions take place week days.
How long to receive my final gallery?
You will receive an invitation to your online private gallery within 2-4 weeks of your session. This invitation will be sent to the email address provided during your initial inquiry. You will be able to download all of your high resolution images from this site. Your gallery will remain available/active for the specified amount of time.
Do you offer mini sessions?
The short answer, No
I am more of a storytelling photographer, providing an immersive experience meant to evoke raw emotion and create connection.
If you're looking for a conventional mini or simple, posed family portraits, I may not be the best fit for you!
Do you have a studio?
No, I do not.
Embracing the elements to balance humanity and nature creates real art to document your story. We can shoot outdoors in any season with the proper wardrobe and expectations.
I do offer in-home sessions for newborn, motherhood and intimate couple sessions.
If a studio is desired, I have a list of studio's that clients can rent per hour for their session.
